What is “personal information”?
Personal information is information that identifies you as an individual. It includes, but is not limited to: a person’s name, address, phone number, e-mail address and credit card information. Personal information does not include information that is collected anonymously or demographic information not connected to an identifiable individual.
The personal information Weetabix may collect or obtain includes but may not be limited to your name, address, phone number, email address, or gender.
How is personal information stored and how does Weetabix keep personal information secure?
Our employees receive regular training regarding our security policy and practices and are familiar with, and expected to comply with policies designed to protect your personal information. The personal information of our Sites’ visitors is only accessible to a limited number of qualified employees who are given a password in order to gain access to the information. We audit our security systems and processes on a regular basis. Sensitive information, such as personal financial information, is protected by encryption protocols, in place to protect information sent over the Internet. While we take commercially reasonable measures to maintain a secure Site, electronic communications and databases are subject to errors, tampering and break-ins, and we cannot guarantee or warrant that such events will not take place and we will not be liable to visitors to our Sites for any such occurrences.

How does Weetabix use your personal information?
We use your personal information to operate, customize and update the content of our Sites and to provide the services offered on our Sites. We use your personal information to inform you of other products or services available from Weetabix or any of its partners and to conduct surveys or studies aimed at determining better or more comprehensive ways Weetabix can serve you or provide its services. Weetabix may also use your personal information to help compile general statistics regarding the Site.

How does Weetabix use log-in information?
We collect an IP address from all visitors to our Site. An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer when you use the Internet. We use IP addresses to help diagnose problems with our server, administer our Site, analyze trends, track users’ movement, gather broad demographic information for aggregate use in order for us to improve the Site, and deliver customized, personalized content. IP addresses are not linked to personal information.
How does Weetabix use “cookies”?
A “cookie” is a text file that is placed on your hard drive by a webpage server. Weetabix uses both “session ID cookies” and “persistent cookies.” They are uniquely assigned to you and can only be read by a web server in the same domain that issued the cookie to you.
